REM is donating $35 of every 3-room job to Officer Steven Stewart

FORNEY TX FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

REM Carpet and Tile Cleaning Services is donating portions of its regular price cleaning services to injured Forney Police Officer Steven Stewart’s fundraiser from now through September 29th, 2020.

In July, as widely reported in local news media, Officer Stewart was involved in a terrible off-duty accident that lead to his leg being amputated. As a result, he and his family are accruing enormous expenses related to his transportation, medical care, equipment, and rehabilitation. These expenses led Officer Stewart’s family to seek help via a FreeFunder campaign.

To date, Officer Stewart’s fundraiser has raised more than $15,500, with a goal of $100,000.

“Like so many of our wonderful emergency service personnel, Officer Stewart gave everything he had to our community,” says Robert Quinn, owner of REM Carpet and Tile Cleaning Services. “Helping him during his time of need — after he dedicated his life to helping us in our times of need — seems like the very least we can do. We owe so much to our police force and other rescue services, and I want to do my part to help.”
