Carpet & Tile Cleaning and Water Restoration Supervisor & Technician

REM Cleaning Services (REM) is looking for a carpet and tile cleaning and water restoration supervisor and technician to fill 2 full-time positions. Responsibilities will include driving to and from client sites, loading, unloading, and setting up equipment, handling cleaning and sanitizing solutions, interacting with customers, etc.

Hours

We have two shifts available:

7am – 4pm
40 hours/week, one hour unpaid lunch each day
1pm – 8pm
30 hours/week

Pay and Benefits

$15/hour for entry level technicians
$15-20/hour for experienced technicians* without certifications
*Experience level will be evaluated by owner and office manager. Pay will be commensurate with experience.
$25/hour for experienced and certified** technicians.
**To be considered valid, certifications must be issued by IICRC, RIA, GBAC, ISSA, Costa Group, or another well-reputed standards-setting body in cleaning/restoration.
Reimbursed training and certification (if desired)
When you earn your certifications on the first try, REM will reimburse all training fees, cost of materials, and test costs (including travel and lodging).
Two weeks paid vacation (annually, starting after one year)
Five days paid sick leave (acrues one day per month, capped at 10 days)
Five days personal time (acrues one day every two months, capped at 5 days)

Requirements

A valid drivers license with zero points.
We do drug tests of all candidates before hiring, and of all employees randomly during employment.
Professional attire — clean khaki shorts/slacks, clean work boots, etc.
(REM-branded work shirts will be provided.)
Physical ability to lift 100 pounds.
Physical stamina to stand and work for 6-8 hours.
Friendly, professional personality.
